Welcome to the science page for the 2019 Thwaites Glacier Expedition! On this page, the science conducted by Drs. Pettit and Wild will be captured, showing the geophysical mechanisms used to comprehend features and changes in the glacier. The research team will be using multiple Radar mechanisms, ice core imaging, thermal imaging, and hydrophone sensing to understand the glacier. As the excursion continues, the page will be updated with the ground-breaking science conducted by the research team.
